A large engineering setup had a campus-wide wireless setup. The problem was that of connectivity drops while moving within the campus. The access points were unmanaged and there was no possibility of RCA for diagnosing connection drop issues. The existing vendor had proposed a solution involving a huge investment.

The SK team identified the gaps in the WiFi network architecture. We repositioned the access points and added a few for enhanced coverage. We turned the entire network into a WiFi - Primary environment. The whole solution was delivered at one-third cost of the proposed investment.

The result was an instant reduction in connection drops. All the blind spots were eliminated. The network security was strengthened and single dashboard management made the network more easily manageable.
